Assembler / Secondary Operations Technician

Pay & Benefits
Start at $16-$20 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and shift. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with room to build manufacturing skills and grow into more advanced aerospace production work. Direct-hire benefits include medical insurance with three plan options, dental, vision, a 401(k) with a 3% dollar-for-dollar match, a Roth retirement option, and employee ownership.

Hours & Locations
Avon, OH:

1st Shift: 6:00 AM-4:30 PM, Monday-Thursday; overtime Friday/Saturday
2nd Shift: 4:00 PM-2:30 AM, Monday-Friday; overtime Saturday

Avon Lake, OH:

1st Shift: 6:00 AM-2:30 PM
2nd Shift: 3:00 PM-11:00 PM

Job Responsibilities

Assemble aerospace parts and components according to prints, diagrams, job travelers, and work instructions
Use hand tools and power tools safely and accurately
Complete secondary operations such as deburring, sanding, grinding, finishing, labeling, kitting, and packaging
Inspect completed work for quality, fit, and accuracy
Communicate clearly with coworkers, supervisors, engineers, and quality personnel
Work as part of a team to meet daily production and safety goals
Keep tools, materials, and the work area clean and organized

This is a fast-paced, climate-controlled aerospace manufacturing environment where precision, safety, teamwork, attendance, and attention to detail are taken seriously.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
Comfortable reading basic prints and diagrams
Experience using hand and power tools
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Dependable attendance and punctuality
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Willingness to work mandatory overtime when scheduled
Ability to complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Closed-toe work shoes and appropriate work pants required
