Description
Med-Trans Corporation seeks a Helicopter Pilot to support Emergency Services air medical transport operations. In this role, you will safely operate rotor-wing aircraft for emergent and interfacility patient transports, ensuring strict adherence to FAA, company, and hospital/EMS protocols. You will collaborate closely with clinical and communications teams, exercise sound aeronautical decision-making, and maintain aircraft readiness. Med-Trans offers a safety-first, mission-driven culture, robust training, and growth opportunities while you perform life-saving missions across diverse communities.Safely operate helicopter for emergent and interfacility air medical transports
Perform pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight checks per FAA and company standards
Exercise sound aeronautical decision-making in dynamic, time-critical situations
Coordinate closely with medical crew, communications, and ground EMS teams
Ensure compliance with all FAA regulations and company SOPs
Maintain aircraft readiness, documentation, and accurate flight/maintenance logs
Assess and adapt to changing weather, terrain, and operational conditions
Participate in ongoing safety programs, training, and simulation exercises
Support community, hospital, and EMS partner relations as a professional representative of Med-Trans
Rotor-wing aircraft operation
Instrument flight rules (IFR) procedures
Night Vision Goggle (NVG) operations
Aeronautical decision-making and risk management
Weather analysis and flight planning
HEMS/air medical aviation procedures
Emergency and abnormal procedures management
Radio communication and ATC coordination
Regulatory compliance (FAA Part 135 or similar)
Technical documentation and flight/maintenance logging

Current Class II (or I) FAA Medical Certificate

Valid state driver’s license
No significant FAA or accident/incident history
