📍 Tacoma, WA
💲 $21–$24/hour (DOE) + Shift Premiums

Join a growing aerospace manufacturing team where precision, quality, and teamwork matter. As an Aerospace Inventory Control Specialist, you'll play a key role in ensuring materials are received, inspected, tracked, and delivered to production with accuracy and efficiency.
This is a hands-on, multi-functional role with opportunities to cross-train and grow your skillset across receiving, inspection, inventory, and materials management. If you're detail-oriented, adaptable, and eager to learn, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do
🔍 Receiving & Inspection
- Receive and process incoming shipments, verifying quantities and part details against purchase orders and packing lists
- Perform inspections using precision tools (calipers, micrometers)
- Review Certificates of Conformance (CoCs) and Material Test Reports (MTRs)
- Accurately enter transactions in ERP/WMS systems
- Identify and document non-conforming materials, initiating NCRs when needed
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace following 5S standards
📦 Inventory & Stores
- Issue materials and kits to production while ensuring accurate system transactions
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting and proper material handling
- Move materials safely throughout the facility using pallet jacks, hand trucks, or forklifts
- Support efficient operations by collaborating with Production, Quality, and Shipping teams
What You Bring
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or materials handling
(Aerospace or plastics experience is a plus!) - Ability to read and interpret technical documents (POs, packing slips, CoCs, MTRs)
- Experience with ERP or WMS systems (plus Microsoft Outlook & Teams familiarity)
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license; forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
Physical & Work Environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours)
- Frequent movement, including stairs and mezzanine access
- Use of material handling equipment, including forklifts
- Detail-oriented work with small parts and measurement tools
- Exposure to manufacturing environments and chemical solvents
Schedule & Perks
- Day or Swing Shift available
- 🌙 Swing shift earns $1.50/hour premium
- ⏱️ Optional overtime only – never mandatory
