  • Minimum of 8 years of professional industry experience
  • BS, MS, or PhD in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field
  • Extensive mechanical design aptitude and analytical mindset and a track record of electromechanical system design in weight critical applications
  • Experience designing critical electromechanical components, which have been sized for strength, stiffness, fatigue, or a combination thereof
  • Extensive understanding of mechanical design fundamentals and analysis methods for parts, assemblies, mechanisms, and joints
  • Deep knowledge in metallic material selection, processing, and manufacturing in aerospace applications
  • Highly experienced in 3D CAD and model setup using 3DExperience (preferred), CATIA V5/V6, SolidWorks or equivalent
  • Highly skilled in generating detailed drawings, to ASME Y14.5-2009 standards
