The PPAP coordinator will provide support to the quality manager by using their knowledge of PPAP AIAG requirements and deliverables. The PPAP coordinator will track critical deliverables, working internally and with the suppliers, to meet customer requirements and improve future submission process. Provide support other team members with launch activities as required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Review PPAP submissions from suppliers
Prepare PPAP submission packages for customers
Develop and maintain PFMEA
Develop and maintain Control Plans and Process flows
Review dimensional inspections including GD&T results and propose improvements
Assist with collecting APQP Deliverables
Assist in conducting internal blueprint reviews
Knowledge and Skills
Experience in IMDS entry
Ability to understand and interpret blueprints of parts and assemblies
Knowledge of initial process studies, capability studies, and 6-piece dimensional layouts
PPAP AIAG Knowledge
Understanding of Gauge R&R, completing of documents
Familiarity with submission of PPAP documents to customers
IATF 16949 experience preferred
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Detail-oriented, organized, with the ability to judge priorities and multi-task
Significantly high standard for accuracy
Proficient in Microsoft Suite (especially Excel)
Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Required Education and Experience
Previous PPAP experience 2-5 years
Quality Experience 2-5 years
Experience working in a manufacturing environment 2-5 years
Experience working with Automotive customers 2-5 years
