The Public Works department is currently involved in several multi-million dollar capital improvement and development projects. This position would manage the day to day maintenance of our parks, trails and bike paths, recreation and City facilities, public right away, levee management, streets and traffic signals, equipment and motor vehicle repairs, long-range planning, budgeting, permitting and compliance, contract management, storm water operations, bidding and purchasing contract management. Education and Experience:
The successful candidate must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Engineering preferred), at least five years of management/engineering experience and have a high level of customer service, preferably in a leadership role in a Public Works Department.
