This position will provide business process excellence expertise by employing process analysis, process simulation and process improvement services.
Collaborate across key stakeholder groups to provide insight on recommendations for process optimization including providing alternatives (e.g., process simulation scenario analysis).
Assist in the measurement and analysis of business processes and the application of tools and techniques to improve business processes.
Identify and champion areas where process improvements and process simulation, as necessary, can be applied and ensure linkages to other strategic projects.
Champion a culture of continuous improvement within and across departments and functional groups.
Provide process analysis expertise including, but not limited to, application of advanced methodologies and tools (e.g., process simulation and Lean/ Six Sigma) to key strategic projects to deliver business value
Analyze process and performance data to understand current performance/ trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
Design, develop and deliver business process models to meet the needs of business clients
Provide leadership in facilitating the development of process models that reflect the critical aspects of a business process so that the process or performance improvements that are desired can be identified, quantified and monitored.
Work across relevant Global Product Development (GPD) and other functional lines, as appropriate, to drive process improvements.
A minimum of 10 years experience in the application of advanced process analysis tools and methodologies (i.e., Lean/Six Sigma)
A minimum BS degree is required, advanced degree in scientific or technical field preferred.
Demonstrated experience in process analysis and improvement tools and techniques as a certified Lean/Six Sigma Master Black Belt (MBB)/Black Belt is required.
Demonstrated knowledge of process modeling and simulation concepts and practices preferred.
Demonstrated experience in discrete event simulation with language coding (e.g., Java Script, Python, etc) is preferred
Demonstrated experience in using statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab) and in generating data driven evaluations is preferred
Demonstrated experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders including facilitating workshops with cross-functional teams and interacting across all levels in a matrix environment.
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of pharmaceutical business processes particularly clinical, safety and regulatory processes (i.e, GCP, GPvG) is required.
Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to interact and influence across many levels of technical and business staff.
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
