This position will be primarily responsible for the management of residential and commercial development projects by working with developers, design consultants and other city staff. This position may also serve as a project manager responsible for managing the design of various capital improvement projects.
CIVIL ENGINEER ($6,616- $8,317monthly salary):
This position will primarily be responsible for the management of water resource and wastewater/groundwater related capital improvement projects during the planning, environmental clearance/permitting, design, and construction support phases. This position may assist with residential and commercial development or other capital projects as necessary.
Associate Engineer requirements include three years of increasingly responsible civil engineering experience and a BS degree in civil engineering or a related field.
Civil Engineer requirements include four years of increasingly responsible civil engineering experience, a BS degree in civil engineering or a related field, and Certificate of Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer in the State of California. Prior experience related to management of water resources and/or wastewater/groundwater related capital improvement projects in a municipal agency setting is highly desirable.
