Manage projects to ensure effective delivery of world class technical solutions for semiconductor process applications for a specific large semiconductor manufacturing equipment customer.
Nature and Scope:
Under minimal supervision and using judgment and discretion, support key account managers and lead as a contact window on coatings business
Organize, optimize and manage customer projects to improve information flow to and from INFICON and the customer
Facilitate regular check-in meetings with applicable managers and engineers for project updates, customer needs, and strategy discussions. This includes publishing the proposed agendas and meeting minutes for all meetings
Provide feedback to USA Program Manager, Sales Management and INFICON Marketing on a routine basis; including monthly reports in the areas of:
New application/product opportunities
Product design features
Key account happenings
Become proficient in using customer communication portal and use it to communicate key information on production orders, design changes, schedules, pricing, and other critical information with the customer
Must have computer experience (MS Office) with CRM Sales automation software experience preferred.
Responsible for project management for coatings and other INFICON products as needed
Understand INFICON product offering and capabilities
Understand customer qualification process steps and milestones
Perform customer presentations on all levels (research, purchasing, logistics etc.) with help from product group and Key Account Manager
Customer project management down to handling of prototype shipments etc.
Link between customer and INFICON business unit (direct contact with management, logistics, engineering and production)
Be able to discuss INFICON coating tools and processes
Understand and discuss metrology needs and capabilities
Assist with priority management to guide business unit
Relationship management between customers, sales, and business unit
Actively promotes the INFICON Quality Program by dealing with all customers in a positive and supportive manner. This includes inside customers (i.e., co-workers) as well as outside customers.
Works to maintain INFICONs ISO 0-9001 Registration by keeping procedures and files up-to-date, recommending improvements as appropriate, and maintaining an awareness of pertinent procedures in all departments.
Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree preferably in chemistry, physics, materials science, or engineering.
Minimum 2 years of work experience in a technical project management role.
Understanding of semiconductor and vacuum processes as well as demonstrated ability to work independently is a plus.
