Quality Control Bench Inspector – Aerospace
Location: Portland, CT
Shifts:

1st Shift 7:00 AM–3:30 PM or

2nd Shift 4:30 PM–12:30 AM (15% shift differential)
(Please note: 2nd shift hires will start on 1st shift for anywhere from a few days to a few wks, to get familiar with SOPs)

What You'll Be Doing

• Inspect precision parts using visual and measurement tools

• Read blueprints, specs, and certifications to confirm compliance

• Perform detailed layouts and First Article Inspections (FAI)

• Ensure every part meets strict aerospace quality standards

What You Need (Non-Negotiable) Please DO NOT APPLY without the following:

• MUST HAVE 2+ years of inspection experience in aerospace, medical, or similar precision industry

• MUST HAVE Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)

• MUST HAVE: Comfortable with Excel and performing basic shop math

• MUST HAVE: Ability to read, understand, and follow blueprints, specifications, and certifications

Bonus Skills

• Experience with Inspection Xpert or Net-Inspect

• Layout inspection experience

• Strong verbal and interpersonal skills
