Barbieri & Kline, a manufacturers' representative in the plumbing industry, is looking for a Territory Account Manager for Central PA to join our team and immediately apply an enthusiastic and self-starter work ethic.
As a Territory Account Manager, you'll be promoting the manufacturers' brands we represent to the contractors, architects, engineers, and distributors with whom you are energetically developing relationships. While building these relationships, you'll be proactively looking for opportunities to solve their problems, and introduce them to the right product offerings at the right time.
The ideal candidate for this position blends traits like empathy and urgency in equal measure, caring about clients' needs and specifications while also approaching deadlines with a sense of confidence and control of the process. You should be unafraid to follow-up on contacts when needed, ready to have a demanding workload, and excited to invest the time needed to facilitate strong working relationships.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: + Call on current and future developed distributor base by maintaining current and future inventory levels, along with product and pricing programs + Work with inside and outside personnel to train and equip them so that they may promote the lines that they stock + Look for opportunities for distributor base to stock additional product lines that we offer + Educate contractor base on current product offerings, features, and benefits + Make sure that B&K is quoting project work that contractors are bidding + Look for opportunities for sales of B&K materials on projects that contractors are buying + Calling on plumbing, mechanical engineering, and architectural firms, promoting and educating them on the benefit of B&K products for specific applications + Additional duties can include doing counter days and making sales calls with distributors' outside sales force
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: + Proven experience in territory sales + Experience in commercial plumbing, heating, or industrial sales preferred + Ability to manage relationships with diverse customer base (e.g., from field contractors to architects) + Computer literate + Must have your own car with valid insurance and a valid driver's license + Must have a laptop with access to reliable internet
