Primary Responsibilities

• Monitor process and standards for production, safety, quality, costs, maintenance activity and customer satisfaction
• Provide direction, counseling, coaching, skill assessment and training of hourly team members
• Direct and lead forming process control initiatives
• Support process improvement teams, housekeeping, and labor relations in the department
• Responsible for coaching, assist with performance management and development of personnel
• Schedule hot end shift personnel to maximize performance, manage overtime, vacation scheduling and absences of hourly team members
• Conduct team member performance appraisals

Salary: $63091-78864 Yearly

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a high speed manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of glass manufacturing processes preferred
• Fundamental knowledge of engineering principles and manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of Statistical Process Control; planning, problem solving, data collection
• Knowledge of environmental, health and safety regulations
• Excellent communication, leadership, team building, planning, organization and problem-solving skills
• Shift work and weekends required, plus a willingness to relocate
