Job Description
Texas A&M University-Kingsville Frank H. Dotterweich College seeks to fill an Assistant or Associate Professor, tenure-track position. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Environmental Engineering, advise undergraduate and graduate students, develop an externally-funded research program, and contribute to the diversity of the scholarly activities within the university. Areas of research and teaching emphasis include regional/global scale water and air pollution studies, environmental remote sensing, environmental sensor technologies (biological, chemical or nanoscale), ecological engineering, and other focus areas relevant to environmental sustainability. Candidates with strong background in development and application of mathematical models at field settings will be given preference.


Requirements
Earned doctorate from regionally accredited institution or university in environmental engineering or a closely related field. Post-graduate experience in either industry or academia, registration as a professional engineer and a strong record of research productivity is highly desirable. Consideration for appointment as a level above Assistant Professor requires a superior record of research publication and funding. Candidate must have 18 graduate hours for every field in which they will teach.
