Job Description
Aerospace Structures Positon at the Tenture-Track Assistant/Associate or Tenured Associate Professor Level. Requirements:All revelant areas of aerospace structures will be considered. Preference will be given to multi-functional materials and structures, aeroelasticity, novel composite materials, functionally graded materials, multi-scale structural analysis, structural health monitoring, and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) and/or micro aerial vehicles (MAV). Structural applications in the wind turbine area are also of interest. About our program:The Department of Aerospace Engineering has a strong academic program with over 30 faculty members who represent a broad spectrum of research interests in the areas of Aerodynamics/Fluid Mechanics, Dynamics/Controls, and Materials and Structures. Requirements
Applicants should hold an earned doctoral degree in aerospace engineering, engineering mechanics, or other closly related discipline. The successful candidate will be expected to build a strong funded research program, publish in archival journals, advise graduate and undergraduate students, and and teach at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
